DASHCAM video shows the moment a £20,000 SUV was written off in a head on crash – caused by the other driver “ogling a woman” dressed in leggings and a bralet.
Jai MacKenzie’s Grand Jeep Cherokee is seen passing a line of vehicles on the left before colliding with a van coming the other direction.
As the van driver blurts out “I’m sorry, I’m sorry”, a young woman dressed for summer can be seen strolling past, paying barely any attention to the mayhem nearby.
Jai, 30, posted the clip with the caption: “Van driver drove off after it was checking out the girl on the pavement not paying attention to the road.”

The telecommunications engineer from Edinburgh recorded the incident in the city’s Pilton area on August 26.
The clip shows Jai passing a line of vehicles parked on the left. Just before he returns to the left hand side of the road a white van comes in to view.
He pulls to the left but the white van fails to stop, colliding with a loud bang.
Jai screams: “F****** hell, man, what are you doing? The van driver utters an immediate apology as Jai sighs and his partner can be heard saying: “Thank god. You okay?”
The young woman glances briefly at the scene she is supposed to have inadvertently caused and carries on.
Jai, who put his speed at 20mph, said today the van driver left the scene. He added that his six-year-old vehicle, left to him by his late grandfather, was written off.
He said: “I was angry as he clearly wasn’t paying attention to the road, then rather shocked when he didn’t stop and decided to drive off.
“The witness I had who was to the side said he was looking at the girl.”
Social media users waded in, with many backing up Jai.
Dale Doherty wrote under Jai’s post: “It’s your priority as you had nearly finished overtaking the parked cars. Hopefully he’ll get done for it.”
Sam Allan said: “The guy in the van is definitely at fault. You were already committed in coming through, your road position acted as a signal and he should have noticed this and stopped.”
Nicole Hallsworth, referring to the van driver, wrote: “ [He} came round the corner like a bat out of hell. Typical man blaming the young girl walking on the footpath. It has nothing to do with her.”

But James Desmond Irvine claimed Jai should take his share of the blame.
He said: “You were on his side of the road and were moving towards him. If you stopped you would have had a case but don’t think you have a hope because your driving was pretty bad.”
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “There was no injury but we are investigating it as a fail to stop after an accident under the road traffic act and enquiries are ongoing.”
